How sick is this my girls older brother Ace Buchan won the Quicksilver Pro in France last night! It was his first final and he came up with the goods. He was up against Slater who could have taken his 9th world title there and than, but Ace was on fire beating him with 2 sick waves surfed.
It puts him at 9th in world. I bet he sank a far few beers after the preso.

Congratulations to Ace. It's not every day a guy keeps Kelly all-mighty Slater away from a world title (even for a few weeks). I know Ace hasn't had a easy time on tour, with his injury and all, but I wish him the best.
