BDO 09

Its coming around to be that time of year again when the first of the big bands are named. Its always such an awesome day. This shot was taken in 06 or 07(cant remember) on my little canon power shot, later that night I dropped it and the dam thing broke! I was spewing but I did get some cool shots during the day.

Sunrise

This shot was taken Sunday morning down at Wollongong Harbour. Getting up early to watch the sunrise is a must, I try and do it as often as I can. When you get one like this its worth missing that extra hour of sleep. This particular sunrise is a very special one for me as it was a very special day.

seagulls

I am currently down the south coast checking in with my old man, we had a BBQ breakfast down at Wollongong Harbour, so many bloody seagulls, check out the flight and screaming of these guys. Throw a bit of bread in the air and try get close enough with the wide angle.

Cigar

Had a few people come around on Friday night for a few drinks! It was to celebrate Ace's win in France, must say we sank a few beers then I pulled out a cigar (cant believe I was smoking that thing in the house) that a mate of mine got me from overseas. Good times!

Blue Neon

A couple of months ago 2 of the boys from Dragon got a couple of new boards, they returned the favour with a few pairs of there sick shades, I went with the blue neon series in the WORMSER style!

Got to love Fridays! JG and myself go down for a beer every friday arvo down the local. We put 20 each in the pokes and came out way on top,YEW! good times ay!(the machine went to $460)

The Kart

Well the challenge went down the other day and what a challenge it was! Pete came out the victor in the end beating Cole Trickle (Schooey) with some very impressive driving. Also new comer Chad Waldron was up there showing his skills.

Ace kills it!

How sick is this my girls older brother Ace Buchan won the Quicksilver Pro in France last night! It was his first final and he came up with the goods. He was up against Slater who could have taken his 9th world title there and than, but Ace was on fire beating him with 2 sick waves surfed.

It puts him at 9th in world. I bet he sank a far few beers after the preso.

Crain

I have this bird that is always in the back yard looking for worms and bugs, it so dam hard to shoot as every time I get my camera out its gone or I scare it away, but not yesterday I snapped this shot(it chilling on the back fence) just as he was about to fly off.

Season 5

Just watch the 3rd episode of season 5 last night, so so good.

Ari and Drama on fire! in this episode, I think it has to be one of the best shows ever!

Blow out

There is a post of this can up on the QCD site, JG shot it on his phone still all frozen.
I think its crazy how the thing didnt explode! Its weird seeing a beautiful thing in such
bad shape. I guess it happens after being frozen for days.

The Kart

Well the battle went down yesterday afternoon. Pete came out on top so many times
I was getting pissed off. I think he needs the Cole Trickle of Mario Kart to challenge him.

He knows who he is.(this is what happened to Pete in the aftermath of his victories HEHE)

The battle is about to begin! Just waiting for Pete to bring his Mii around for a 4 player showdown!
Its so dam hot but, I guess a couple of cold beers will keep us cool.

Rawlins killing it again! How big a thick is this one! Cant wait to see the shots

Feeding the ducks while drinking beers is pretty fun! Theses little little quack quacks
had a ball this arvo. This shot was taken on one of those amazing i crap phones. yew!

WALL E

Went to the Flicks last night to see the new Pixar film WALL E.

Must say its pretty sick! You feel for the little guy. If you are a fan of other
Pixar work than you will like this.

Rawlins

How sick was the cover of both the latest Riptide and Movement mags.

Mitch Rawlins is pushing the limits further and further along with a couple
of the other boys. Here is a pic of the actual board he rode to put him into
that crazy position.

Sneaking around getting candid shots like this is fun. Benny Player here giving
it a flex at a photo shoot a while back. My mate Nick shot the photos for the wraps
on the NMD boards this year, he worked for a sick studio at the time so I went down to
check it out.

CACTUS

Watch the Australian film Cactus last night and I must say it was pretty dam good.
Bryan Brown has a small roll and puts on a great performance. It has some great road
shots in it and is worth checking out.

Oh yeah KENNY (Shane Jacobson) makes a hell of a truck driver.

I am so looking forward to this movie, its going to be sick!

Digital Drama

Had a few people around last weekend, few drinks few yarns you know just
a good old time.
You shoot of a few frames of the group, import them into the computer
then find the shot you like has a big smugged on it, DAM! (sorry Clayman)

Ring Ring

Shot this phone booth around the corner from my house last night.
It kinda weird these things are still standing as all of us enjoy the luxury
of our Mobile phones.

I don't know what it is I just like shooting them.

Summer Time!

How good was the weather on Saturday? It was perfect, a couple of beers
down the beach mixed in with a bit of Frisbee. The boys had been killing it
until a gust of wind sent the Friz out a little to far in the ocean and the thing sank!

JG had paid top dollar for it and it sank and was lost in a matter of seconds.

A couple of months ago I started shooting phone booth's for something a
little different.

They came came out looking pretty sweet, haven't really shot any since.

Fun waves

Got up for the early this morning, JG had sent me a msg
with good news!Fun 3 to 4 feet waves are always good on a Friday, also only 4 other guys
out and Luke Shad shooting fisheye.The Dolphins showed up and put on a sick show, surfing the sets and then
doing massive jumps out the back of the waves.

Gotta love Fridays.

Me, Uncle

Just found out the other day I am going to be an Uncle for the fist time.

Yep my older sister has a bun in the oven baking away, with every thing going smooth
the little bub will be out in the big bad world in March.

Surf

Well plenty of waves around the past couple of days with some
spots reaching 12ft yesterday afternoon.

This morning it had dropped a little but is still pretty solid.
Many beach's and reef's around the central coast just
didn't have it happening with a low high tide this morning.

This shot of Terrigal point tells the story, big chunky and
bouncy.

One of the best show created! Mark Wahlberg and 

Doug Ellin are so sick, its such a sick show, just

to kick back and chill.It's got it all, the characters are so good from

Drama to Ari they all have there moments.

For those of us who have season 4 (or lucky enough to

get a mate download it for you) you know what I am talking about.

Just hanging for the 5th season.
